Live, Love and Wander

Hello darlings! I hope all is well with you all. I'm going to be posting a lot more now that school is over so I'm going to have a little bit extra time. On my free time, I love to explore. Live, Love and Wander. This dress that I'm wearing is from Archipelago called the Nikita Peach Dress. Archipelago whole collection has a bohemian style with handmade fashion items. One of my favorite items they have are Kimono's that are drop dead gorgeous! Definitely worth checking out this company for their great selection. I would of wore a bikini under this but since it was like 70 degrees I knew I would of froze my booty! Haha but what I adore about this piece is you can wear absolutely anything with it, not to mention how beautiful the lace is. Underneath this dress/coverup, I wore lacey white shorts and low v kneck black tank from Express.

However, these lovely pictures were taken in Cold Spring, NY by Cameron Smith! It's absolutely breathtaking over at this site. You could also see West point the Army academy from across the Hudson River. The sky was so beautiful and blue and I love the view of all the mountains :) The Hudson Valley is truly such a remarkable view.

Write your own story, connect with what truly matters. Uncover your inner wanderer through the spirit that flows through each of Archipelago’s creations.

Quotes that touch my soul:
"First, believe in this world - that there is meaning behind everything.
Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you are not understanding it in the right light. Throw the burden on yourselves."

Meaning of the tree of life and grounding praying beads

Meaning of the Tree of life:

The tree of life can be interpreted in many ways. The tree of life means a lot to me because for me it's the resemblance that we are all one and connected with animals, plants and each other. We all need trees to survive because of the oxygen it provides and for many animals, birds, and insects spend most of their lives in trees. It also provides shelters from the weather and protection and also gives us resources we use day to day. In addition, tree's produce fruits, nuts, barks, leaves and roots. With global warming trees also contribute by absorbing carbon dioxide. It might be stupid to say, but thank a tree and be appreciate of it and all it provides us with.

In the spiritual world, the tree of life signifies protection, strength, beauty, wisdom, bounty, and redemption. Likewise, the tree of life is also a symbolization of growth because of the way a tree grows with many microcosms and just like the human development. It shows that we are all connected from every branch.

Enjoy the simple things.

Enjoy the simple things

Life is way too short not to enjoy the simple things. Be grateful of every blessing, whether it is the air you're breathing, the food you just ate or just having a roof over your head. I think as a society we tend to dwell on the negative and complain about the little things even though we don't see the beauty that is around us every single day. The love and compassion we can give to each other and also receive. It's always better to count your blessings instead of dwell on the negative. Appreciate the good in life and the universe will only send you wonderful energy!

American Made Vintage Inspired

I love the simple, casual Amvi (American made, Vintage Inspired) Collection. The outfit that I'm wearing in these pictures are the every day leggings are my absolutely favorite. They are so comfy! I'm wearing the everyday leggings and the heather grey alex jersey v-neck. Their clothes are made to be durable, and won't disintegrate after a couple of times after being washed. I also love the Henley shirts from the men collection and are also another item to definitely check out.

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend, sending you all my love <3 xo

Get To Know Me Blogger Award

Thank you, Daisy Amber for nominating me for a "Get to Know Me" blogger award. It's definitely honoring coming from you hun because you are so sweet and I enjoyed reading your Q&A!

1.   If you could pick one super power, what would it be?
If I could pick one super power in the world, it would be to heal people. It's very hard for me to watch animals or people in pain whether it's emotionally or physically.

2. What is your favourite feel good film.
One of my favorite feel good films would be Remember the Titans. I've always been a fan of true stories as well. It's crazy to see how much time has changed our society. How far we have come as American's. Unfortunately, there is a lot of prejudice goes on as well in today. Our generation needs to put a stop in all these hate crimes and learn that it doesn't matter what color someone is or their religious beliefs doesn't make them less of a person.

3. Audio Books or Ebooks and why?
I would definitely say Ebooks. I love my kindle :) I love actually being able to get in my own little world when I read and read it the way I feel like it should be read rather than someone else's voice.

4. If you could recommend just one book to someone, which one would it be and why?One of my favorite books that I would recommend to someone would be a The Buddah Walks into A Bar by Lodro Rinzler. It's a good new age modern book for anyone no matter what your religion belief is. The Buddah Walks into A Bar is about our younger generation and how we can live life consciously knowing how to treat ourselves and others with respects. A lot of people have sex before marriage just like the bible says or any other religious aspects, or drink with their friends on the weekends. It doesn't make us an immoral person, but it definitely talks about moderation is always important. One of my favorite quotes from the book. “We all can be Basic Goodness Man or Basic Goodness Woman. We all have the potential to unlock our heart and mind, and access these pure aspects of ourselves. Everyone in the world has the ability to slow down, connect to their heart, and be more accepting of whatever life brings them. You don’t have to be bitten by a radioactive spider or exposed to gamma radiation to do that. You can simply be who you already are; you can be a fully genuine person.” (Rinzler 193) We all have the power to impact other people each and every day. It can be just going out of your way for a stranger or an act of kindness that opens up our heart chakra. I've always grown up catholic but I do respect and love the Buddhist beliefs because it's all about opening your heart and letting love in and learning that our mind is so powerful. Researchers shown how impactful mediation has with health benefits, anxiety, connecting with the universe and learning to have an open mind.

5. What is your (own) favourite blog post to date. Could we please have a link? 🙂
Rose quartz and sandal wood bracelet from LovePray
My favorite blog post definitely would have to be my rose quartz body suit post. That would be my favorite post doing because I love healing stones. It's definitely refreshing having the change to work with companies that have the same positive mind like I do. Rose quartz would be my favorite healing stone because it helps me open my heart even more than it already is and helps with self love. Especially, for us Taurus we usually give so much and forgot to focus on loving ourselves

Was able to spend time with my best friend kendall last week & enjoy earth day!
Sending my love to all of you,
have a wonderful week filled with lots of love!!! Xo
